Aysha Abba
Executive Profile – Aysha Abba (BEng, MSc, MNSE)
Aysha Abba (BEng, MSc, MNSE) is a dynamic business leader and Engineer with over a decade of experience spanning across energy, banking & finance and management across Africa, the UK, the US and the UAE.
She is the Co-Founder & CEO of Cainergy Group, an integrated Oil field and energy services company; & the Founder & Managing Director of Subdrill E&P Limited, Owner & Operators of PPL 256 - Asasa West Oil Field Offshore Niger Delta.
A passionate advocate for innovation and sustainability in Africa’s Oil and Gas industry, Aysha has been recognized with multiple awards including the Nigerian Oil& Gas Rising Star Award of 2022 and Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Award. She previously served as a Government Securities Advisor at the Central Bank of Nigeria, and has worked in banking and credit advisory roles in both Dubai and Nigeria.
Aysha holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Warwick, UK and a Masters in International Business, Trade & Finance from Hult Business School, San Francisco, USA. She has attended several Business, Strategy & Management courses at Harvard Business School & INSEAD. She also serves on several Boards including the AVPA, Ignite Capital, Titan Tubulars, Oil Tools Africa, Skyjet Aviation to mention a few, and runs an independent empowerment program where she continues to remain committed to mentoring young leaders and advancing women in STEM and business.
